Surfing In Arugambey

Located 312 km away from Colombo, the Pigeon Island National Park is known for its beautiful beach and birdlife. Consisting of 2 islands, the national park is home to many birds species, including the endemic Blue Rock Pigeon, hence the name Pigeon island. Declared as a National Park in 2003, this is one of the most beautiful beaches stretches in Nilaveli beach with shallow waters and vibrant coral life, making it an ideal spot for a snorkelling adventure.
