Our booking terms and conditions describe things you are legally entitled to expect from us when you purchase our services and your obligations as a customer. The terms “we,” “us,” and “us” refer to Travel Right Sri Lanka. The term “you” refers to you the customer visiting our website and using our services.
Booking Confirmation
For all the bookings, we charge 50% upfront of the payment as a reservation guarantee. We expect you to make the advance payment within 3 days of your booking confirmation.
Balance payment can be made 02 weeks before the arrival date or with cash at the arrival.
We accept your payments via the following payment methods for your convenience.
· Bank to Bank Transfers
· Credit Cards (5.5% surcharge)
· Debit Cards (5.5% surcharge)
* The quoted price is subject to change with the proviso that, in case of a hike in price of fuel/tax, the quote may vary accordingly.
Booking Cancellation
Hotel Availability & Alternatives
If the listed hotels are unavailable for your travel dates, we will do our best to arrange a similar property. In some cases, a higher room category or alternate hotel may be offered, which could involve an additional cost payable by the client.
Booking Amendments
Any changes in travel plans such as dates, activities, and nature of service must be informed to us in advance, and the recipient must endure cancellation charges and additional costs involved in booking amendments.
Refunds & Cancellation Policy
At Travel Right Lanka (PVT) Ltd, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to be fair, transparent, and supportive to our customers. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before booking.
1. Full Refund (More than 30 days before check-in):
If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before check-in, we will process a 100% refund to your original payment method.
2. Peak Season & Standard Season (Less than 30/21 days):
• Peak season (December–March & July–August): Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in,
• Standard season: Cancellations made less than 21 days before check-in,
Hotel payments are non-refundable (100% hotel charges apply).
This policy ensures that we can honor our commitments with hotels and suppliers while still supporting your planning needs.
3. Last-Minute Cancellations (Less than 7 days):
For cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
4. Other Approved Refunds:
For services other than hotels, any approved refunds will be processed promptly to the original payment method used within 7-14working days.
5. Force Majeure / Extraordinary Situations:
In events beyond our control, such as war, pandemics (e.g., COVID-19), natural disasters, or government restrictions, we always strive to refund the full amount or the best possible amount to our clients. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priority.
We value our customers and aim to provide flexible solutions wherever possible. If you have special circumstances or require assistance, please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Hotel Check-in & Check-out
Standard check-in and check-out times apply; early check-in or late check-out may incur extra charges.
Insurance
You must have valid travel insurance, and the policy should clearly state the terms and conditions.
Health Condition
We advise you to get proper health check-ups to get an assurance of your health condition before traveling. If you suffer from any sickness, meet your family doctor, and get medical advice and necessary health documents before traveling. If you catch any illness or experience an injury during your holiday in Sri Lanka, please inform our tour representatives immediately.
Client Responsibilities
